Owls baseball lose to Millers and Bears

Elgin 1 Yukon 9 Elgin 1 Noble 2   Elgin traveled to Yukon to take on the Millers after the Cache Bulldogs were unable to play due to undisclosed circumstances. The Millers jumped out to an early lead, scoring five runs in the bottom of the first inning.

Fletcher Baseball goes 2-1 for the week

Fletcher 14 Riverside Indian 4 Fletcher 2 Thomas-Fay-Custer 11 Fletcher 1 Arapaho-Butler 9   Fletcher took on the Riverside Indian Braves to start the week. Riverside jumped out to an early lead dragging in one run in the top of the first inning.

Elgin Lady Owls turn on offense in victories

Elgin 14 Calumet 4 Elgin 12 Canute 20 Elgin 16 Central High 10 Elgin 2 Cyril 10   Elgin took on the Calumet Lady Chieftains to open up the Fletcher Tournament. Elgin jumped out to an early lead, scoring four runs in the bottom of the first inning.

Out of Bounds

As high school spring sports continue to wind down, the mind drifts to upcoming spring football camps. The Owls football team will take to the field during the weeks of May 16 through 26 and then have the Spring game on May 27.

Lady O's have a busy week

Elgin 7 Apache 17 Elgin 4 Cache 11 Elgin 10 Newcastle 14 Elgin traveled to Apache on Monday, April 11 to take on the Lady Warriors. Hannah Endicott opened up the scoring with a line drive single. The Lady Warriors then rattled off nine unanswered runs to take a commanding lead.

Owls swept by Duncan in district play

Elgin 2 Duncan 13 Elgin 2 Duncan 8 Elgin traveled to Duncan on Monday, April 11, to take on the Demons for a district contest. Grady Thomas and Case Clemons drove in runs to give Elgin an early 2-0 lead. The Demons tied and took the lead with seven runs in the fourth inning.

Fletcher splits four games

Fletcher 3 Sentinel 1 Fletcher 17 Binger-Oney 5 Fletcher 4 Hydro-Eakly 17 Fletcher 2 Elmore City-Pernell 6 Fletcher took on Sentinel to open up their week. After three scoreless innings to start the game, Sentinel drug a run across in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Bulldogs battle through rough week

Cache 5 Chickasha 15 Cache 2 Marlow 12 Cache 2 Marlow 8 Cache took on the Chickasha Fightin’ Chicks on Thursday, April 7. Drake Jones got the scoring started for the Bulldogs when he hit a sac fly to score Gabe Diaz.
