Elgin 4 MacArthur 3 Elgin 8 MacArthur 7 Elgin 16 Clinton 19   Elgin hosted the MacArthur Highlanders in a big time 5A-1 District showdown. The Owls jumped out to an early lead thanks to RBIs by Jace Williams and Tres Lorah to make it 2-0.

'Dogs sweep Bi-District, roll into Regionals

Cache 10 Woodward 0 Cache 16 Woodward 15   Cache Bulldogs hosted the Woodward Boomers for the Bi-District Tournament. Cache started the postseason campaign off strong when Joseph Brown smashed a double into center field to score two runs and give the Bulldogs an early lead.

Spring Sports Once again it has reached that time of year where all your spring sports are trying to get Regional and State Tournaments in and played. One big factor every year it seems is the weather. Mother Nature once again has injected herself into the season ending tournaments.

Bulldogs lose lone game of the week to Comanche

Cache 3 Comanche 5 Cache hosted the Comanche Indians for their only contest of the week. After both sides had a scoreless first two innings, the Indian offense woke up in the third inning when Gunner King scored a runner on an RBI groundout to make it 1-0.

Wildcats see season come to an end in district tournament

Fletcher 7 Big Pasture 3 Fletcher 15 Indiahoma 3 Fletcher 1 Navajo 9 Fletcher 8 Navajo 12   Fletcher took on the Big Pasture Rangers in their final game before the district tournament. Big Pasture got out to an early lead scoring one run in the top of the first inning.

Owls have rough week, drop three games

Elgin 3 Noble 7 Elgin 2 Piedmont 5 Elgin 5 Claremore 9   Elgin faced off against the Noble Bears to make up for a rained out earlier contest. The visiting Bears jumped out on top in the second inning scoring two runs to take control early on.

Lady Owls drop a pair of game before regionals

Elgin 12 Hinton 13 Elgin 0 Cyril 12   Elgin took on the Hinton Lady Comets to kick off their week. The Lady Comets jumped out to an early lead in the bottom of the second inning scoring six runs. Jaemie Johns got the Lady Owls on the board in the third with a solo shot home run.

Baker news Football is in the air once again! Not only did Oklahoma have their spring game last week, but the NFL Draft is happening this week and it looks like it may be intriguing for one former Sooner player.

Cache hangs tough but can't pick up the wins

Cache 6 Altus 7 (8) Cache 1 Lone Grove 10 Cache 6 Altus 8 (12) Cache took on the Altus Bulldogs in a non-district matchup. Altus got out to an early lead, scoring one run in the top of the order inning. Cache was able to match it when Drake Jones scored Gabe Diaz on a sacrifice fly.
