Fletcher 14 Riverside Indian 4
Fletcher 2 Thomas-Fay-Custer 11
Fletcher 1 Arapaho-Butler 9
Fletcher took on the Riverside Indian Braves to start the week.
Riverside jumped out to an early lead dragging in one run in the top of the first inning.
The Wildcats responded when Kaleb Kimball and Brayden Chinnow both reached on an error, each driving in a run.
Kimball continued his hot day at the plate in the second, driving in a pair of runs on an RBI double, then later stealing third base and scampering home on a passed ball to make it 5-1 Fletcher.
Riverside answered back in the top of the third inning with two runs to cut the lead down to three. The Wildcats responded once again with three runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning.
The Braves tried to chip into the deficit with one run in the top of the fourth; however Fletcher drove the nail in the coffin with six runs in the bottom of the inning capped off by an RBI walk from Kimball.
The Wildcats looked to continue the momentum when they faced off against the Thomas-Fay-Custer Terriers.
The Terriers jumped out to an early lead in the bottom of the first inning scoring four runs.
Fletcher cut the deficit in half during the third inning thanks to Kimball and a bases-loaded hit by Jade Ketchum. That was as close as Fletcher got as the Terriers pulled away with a run-rule win for the game.
Fletcher looked to get back on track when taking on the Arapaho-Butler Indians. The Indians got out to a fast-start scoring three runs in the first inning and four in the second.
Fletcher finally got on the board in the fourth inning when Earl Squyres drove in a run on a single into right field.
The Indians tacked on more runs to pull off the run-rule victory over the Wildcats.
