Elgin chooses standard allowance for revenue loss

ELGIN – Elgin will use the federal government’s standard allowance for revenue loss, which is part of the American Rescue Plan Act, for providing city services.

Wildcats see season come to an end in district tournament

Owls have rough week, drop three games

Elgin Lady Owls turn on offense in victories

Elgin 14 Calumet 4 Elgin 12 Canute 20 Elgin 16 Central High 10 Elgin 2 Cyril 10   Elgin took on the Calumet Lady Chieftains to open up the Fletcher Tournament. Elgin jumped out to an early lead, scoring four runs in the bottom of the first inning.
