Elgin sets date for vote to fill vacant council seat

ELGIN – Later this year, Elgin voters will choose someone to fill the vacancy on the Elgin City Council.   The council voted April 1 to schedule a nonpartisan special election to fill the Ward 2 seat on the council, formerly held by Eric Bradford.
