(AP) - It’s official: The NBA is coming back Dec. 22. The NBA’s board of governors unanimously approved Tuesday the financial terms and oth- er parameters that were negotiated between the league and its players.

ELGIN - After a two week hiatus, Elgin returned to their home football field on Friday, Nov. 6 to take on Chickasha. Elgin won the coin flip and opted to kickoff to start the game. Elgin went straight to their bag of tricks and opened the game with an onside kick, which they recovered.

EDMOND - Even ice storms couldn’t stop Gage McElhaney from winning Cross Country Gold. The Class 5A Cross Country meet was originally scheduled to be ran on Saturday, Oct. 31 was delayed until Wednesday, Nov. 4 due to damage on the course at Edmond Santa Fe from the recent ice storm.

Fletcher Athletic Physicals

Fletcher Junior High and High school athletes will be able to get their physicals on Tuesday, August , from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Fletcher High School gymnasium. Seventh through 12th grade athletes and cheerleaders are welcomed, and the cost is $20 person.
