Semi crashes on Bailey Turnpike

Along with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, emergency crews from local fire departments responded to a crash involving a semi tractor-trailer belonging to Kingfisher Construction Services Co. of Kingfisher Tuesday afternoon. The truck was traveling along the H.E. Bailey Turnpike when it collided with the median barrier north of Elgin. Inside lanes for both eastbound and westbound traffic was blocked to allow crews to work the scene.
