EDMOND – Elgin’s swim teams continue to make waves in high swimming. The Owls have only had a swim team for a few years, but continue to rack up honors. Vivian Vanderpool has earned the honor of becoming Elgin High School’s first all-state swimmer. At 6:30 p.m.

  Folks, we have reached that time of year that if you are not a baseball fan there is not much going on. Good thing we are baseball fans. We took a trip up the turnpike and caught an Oklahoma City Dodgers game. And even though they came out on the short end, we did have a good time.

CLEVELAND (AP) — Baker Mayfield’s wild four-year ride in Cleveland is over. The No. 1 overall pick in 2018, Mayfield was traded Wednesday by the Browns, who moved on from the divisive quarterback months ago and finally sent him to the Carolina Panthers for a future draft pick.
