The law firm Crowe and Dunlevy will host a meet-and-greet event for members of the Comanche Nation from 11:30 a.m. until l:30 p.m. Saturday at Los Tres Amigos Mexican Restaurant, 2002 E. Gore Blvd. in Lawton.
“The event is being held to thank Comanche tribal members for their past support and answer questions about the upcoming runoff election,” the law firm said Wednesday in a news release. “Tribal members are invited to stop by and enjoy chips, salsa, and a taco while they get to know the candidates.”
The runoff election is set for June 11, according to the Comanche Nation’s website. Early in-person voting will be available June 10, and absentee ballots are due to the Lawton post office by noon June 11.
