Cache hosted the Comanche Indians for their only contest of the week.
After both sides had a scoreless first two innings, the Indian offense woke up in the third inning when Gunner King scored a runner on an RBI groundout to make it 1-0.
The Bulldogs answered right back in the bottom half of the inning when Gabe Diaz and Reid Lyon both had RBI base knocks to tie the game and take the lead. Comanche then answered back in the fifth inning when Landen Steele forced a Bulldog error to tie the game up at two runs apiece.
Owen Bigford then drew an RBI bases-loaded walk to give the Indians the lead. Comanche tacked on two more runs in the frame to take a 5-2 lead.
Cache answered back with a run of their own thanks to a Diaz RBI single to cut the Comanche lead back down to two runs.
The Indians slammed the door and were able to take the victory in this tightly contested ballgame.
