ELGIN – An annual breakfast fundraiser benefitting Elgin Community Library is set for Saturday, April 23.
Presented and supported by the Ancient, Free and Accepted Mason Pilot Lodge #367 and Friends of the Elgin Community Library, the breakfast will be held at 819 8th Street in Elgin.
From 8-10 a.m., in exchange for monetary donations, attendees can enjoy eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, as well as their choice of milk, juice or coffee.
The annual breakfast fundraiser has brought proceeds to the library since about 2013, said Library Director Leslie Durham. Proceeds from the event are used to further library programs and services, she added.
