Richard Gene Foster, 56, of Chickasha, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020, in his home. He was born Feb.19, 1964, in New Orleans. He spent most of his childhood in the New Orleans area, where he attended Belle Chasse Elementary and Belle Chasse Middle School. After relocating to the Chickasha area, he graduated from Ninnekah High School in 1982. Upon graduation, he took a job with his father’s wireline service, where he worked alongside his dad and brothers for several years. He later obtained a physical therapist assistant degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Rick married Lori Harris in 1993, and together they had two sons, Dylan and Dalton. He was later re-married to Rachel Foster in 2007, who was by his side for his remaining days. Rick worked as a physical therapist assistant at various different places and as an insurance adjuster for Progressive Insurance. Rick loved playing the drums, spending time with friends and, most importantly, his family. He was a wonderful soul who lit up a room, kind beyond measure and enjoyed making people laugh. He will be greatly missed. Rick is survived by his son, Dalton Foster; his
son and daughter-in-law, Dylan and Taycee Foster; his grandson, Kulson Foster; his brother, Jack Foster; his brother and sister-in- law, Greg and Sue Foster; and many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Sue Foster; and his father, Jack Wayne Foster.
