STERLING - A rare jewel for families in Southwest Oklahoma can be found at the Sterling swimming pool. Situated between Elgin and Rush Springs on Oklahoma Highway 17, the pool has been a source of fun for paddling pool-goers for nearly five decades.

STERLING - Limited beef availability has caused concern and frustration as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, yet one local processor said grocery stores aren't to blame for decreased selections.
Qualified to provide meals to students during the recent closures due to COVID-19, Fletcher Public Schools has been handing out to-go sack lunches for kids in the district. On Tuesday, March 24, FPS senior Lauren Givens, Leila Kerrick, fifth grade, and Matthew Givens, Pre-K, walked to the school to retrieve their sack lunch.
