Honoring those who gave all

Soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Field Artillery Salute Battery, fire a volley of 21 rounds May 30 during the Fort Sill Memorial Day Ceremony in front of the Army post headquarters. “Memorial Day is a chance for us to honor all the service men and women who gave their lives in selfless service to our nation,” said Maj. Gen. Kenneth L. Kamper, Fort Sill’s commanding general. “Memorial Day is not only a day to mourn those we’ve lost, but a day to celebrate the lives of Soldiers whose loyalty is unparalleled.”
